We enjoyed a relaxing weekend at Causeway Inn (Mary & Ed condo). The condo was great, very comfortable and clean. The view from the deck overlooking the channel was beautiful. We will definitely stay here again!!
It's not the Marriot, but hey - it's decently clean and you can't beat the price for a block's walk from the beach. The rooms aren't extravagant but they are clean which is most important to me. The walk up the stairs that are enclosed was somewhat grungy - we usually went up the deck stairs - but hey, we'd stay here again for a nice beach stay.
Walk to the beach, pier restaurants and bars! Much more family friendly beach town than Myrtle! Great food at the local restaurants. The pier grill has the best breakfast you'll ever put in your mouth and definitely budget friendly. Ice cream, Mini golf, gift/T-shirt shops are an easy walk as well. You can rent bikes, surf boards, kayaks, etc across the street!
Very nice little motel. It isn’t fancy or tries to sell you too much, and the price is amazing for being that close to the beach. I think the bathroom shower in the penthouse could use new knobs/a little attention, but everything was clean and didn’t feel junky or out of place. Definitely made our vacation and we will be back!
First time staying at Causeway Inn.Was very pleased with everything room we had was very clean. if short trip I recommend this place it is walking distance to everything..
The room we have is the same one we've had for several years. I have to sleep in a recliner & this room now has 2 very comfy recliners. Changes for the better have been made to this room. It seems larger but it's not really. Can move around easier & the recliners are GREAT!! What more can be said?
The rooms are perfect for a few nights stay or even a week. We were able to prepare meals easily with a skillet we brought and the microwave. The rooms also have a refrigerator. Cable TV and wifi is provided. Beds are comfortable. It's located close enough to the pier/beach that guests can walk. Plenty of diners and shops close by. Highly recommend.
My daughter and I wanted a simple hotel/motel in close proximity to the beach. While this isn’t an oceanfront accommodation, it’s just about a 5 minute walk to the beach. There is a beautiful view of the Intercoastal Waterway.from the room we stayed in. The rooms are super clean, cute, and very comfortable. It is close to restaurants, ice cream shops, and beach stores. We would definitely recommend Causeway Inn and will stay there again in the future.
